Kalico Kits
Mindfulness stitching is being recognised for it's importance in relaxation, combating anxiety and is a perfect way to de-stress. Hand stitching helps keep fingers active and fit too.
These are not kits that follow a pattern but an opportunity to explore your own creative nature, and tell your own story.
Based on my own love of fabric journalling, they include a selection of fabrics and notions I have chosen specifically for their colours and textures, complimenting the subjects and each kit will differ slightly so every kit is unique.
The contents can be utilised in whatever way works for you - cut the fabric, add to the choices with personal touches or simply use as it is.
These slow stitch kits are a wonderful way to relax, be in the moment, stitch in an individual style and be mindful of the present.
Most importantly, they encourage you to enjoy the creative process from design to completion and get lost in thoughts and memories along the way.
80% of the fabrics in the kits are pre-loved and laundered, helping to take care of our planet too.
