Why did I choose to do these particular talks?
Inspiration often comes from a question, and one of these lead to researching where patchwork block patterns came from.
These stories hold such bravery, such ingenuity and such trust and they speak of coded communications that became such an important part freedom for those who survived.

I'm really excited! Finally I am able to run workshops on some of my favourite subjects and makes!

The first of the workshops is all about Kawandi - a lovely form of Quilting as you Go and such a relaxing method of creating something beautiful from small fabric pieces.

I will be running these workshops once a month, creating a project, teaching skills and having fun along the way.

As of Tuesday 22nd September, Stitching Together in Shefford will run classes again and I am so excited to be back teaching this wonderful subject once more.

We have a new day - Tuesday - as so many folk found Mondays a challenge, and we have made a slight change to the time - we are now starting at 7pm and finishing at 9pm.
The location stays the same!
