Revamping Camping!

One old caravan needed some love so I removed the faded curtains and replaced with some retro Dorma fabric, lined with terracotta - warm light flooded in!
Take 2 friends, 2 daughters, 3 dogs, an old caravan and some imagination... then add tea, chocolate, laughter and lots of madness... well all that was needed to top it off was a revamp to make it all cozy and comfortable. Recycling and refreshing was all it needed!
Some of the old curtain fabric was still good so this was re-sewn into cushion covers to add to the still usable originals. The colours in the Dorma fabric echoed the cushions so each cushion was given a motif, using scraps of the Dorma and terracotta cotton. These were all sewn whilst staying in the caravan!
The motifs were based on the lives of the the caravan owner and the stitcher!
A camera: both are qualified photographers
A dog: they both love them!
Wine: well no holiday would be complete without it
A caravan: a bit drafty without it!
Icecream: a holiday must
Bunting: who doesn't love that??
Hearts: that's what friends are all about.

The cushions came to life! Our home from home was cozy and personal!
